In 2004 Imelda O Hanlon, a native of Wexford, recognised that employees looking for career advancement or career change had to travel to Dublin, Waterford or Kilkenny to discuss their options with a professional recruiter for this reason she decided to establish the agency in Wexford town.  Likewise for employers, sourcing candidates with the skill set that their organisation requires, discussing job specifications etc., tends to be easier with a local agency with local knowledge.  Prior to setting up Star Recruit Imelda worked for eighteen years in an IT sales/consultancy role based in the south east.
